https://x.com/ouchi040/status/2013459241562935781?s=20 花札の絵札の『4月』がタイトル 絵の物語としては、ゲームに負けて死んでしまったという感じ。 過去の私の名前で絵を描くことはない。 見る人側になった私が、過去の私とわたしを殺した絵です。 遺影みたいでネガティブな印象だけど、ポジティブな決意や覚悟を持って描きました。 The title comes from the April card in Hanafuda. In the story of the illustration, the character has lost the game and died. I no longer create works under my former name. This piece represents me, now on the viewer’s side, confronting and “ending” my past self—the one created under that former name. Although it may resemble a memorial portrait and feel negative at first glance, it was drawn with a positive sense of resolve.
